NONIQ | A Review Blog

I recently put more attention toward green color, means I will collect more green in the future. I'm a little bit forget when I started to dislike green color but now I think it's quiet catchy, I want to try it.

This is my outift on July 29th 2012

Top : White Shirt | Green Pants
To be honest I had to alter both shirt and the pants to match my size. The top white shirt wat M size and the length and the pants originally had 5 cm more on the length, so I had my tailor cut it (though it seems still too long for me.. ).

The only accessories I attached with was only this belt, definitely love this belt, it was given by mom though :)

That's all for today :) Thanks for reading!

Bandung Carnival Land

Hello everyone, how's your weekend? Today I want to share my story visiting the Bandung Carnival Land, a local amusement park in my city. I rare to go to playground unless with my whole big family. That's why when my mom and lil bro asked me to accompany them last weekend I easily accepted them. Moreover, I didn't have anything much to do at office and my job seemed pretty easy to handle, so I took my day off and went with them, what a great escape!

It's located at Jl. Sirnagalih No.15, Karangsetra, Bandung, around 30 minutes from my place, but on weekend it'll take around 1 hour to reach it due the traffic jam. It was hard to find the location at first since we were lack of information about how to get there, but glad we didn't take much time to arrive.

I could say that Bandung Carnival Land (BCL) is a mid-range local amusement park, you can't compare it with Trans Studio Bandung or another extreme, Dunia Fantasi, Jakarta, cause they're simply different and you can easily spot it based on the entrance fee. The fee type is various; it depends on whether you're going to the amusement park only and/or the swimming pool. I didn't go to the swimming pool unfortunately so I couldn't inform you about it, in fact the entrance to enter the amusement park and the pool itself was different.

This is the entrance to Bandung Carnical Land (The Amusement Park)
The distance between the main gate to the BCL entrance was quiet far! Good for exercising. There you can see through the picture the BCL main gate. Once we arrived, we must choose what type of ticket we would like to buy, it ranges within IDR 15,000 - 30,000 (the expensive one included all games you can play but for only for one-time).

So we bought the all-in ticket just to make us easier to play all the games. Before we walk through the gate, we were given a wrist-band to sign every mark from the game we've played, will show you later about this.

This will be given after you buy the ticket
The first thing you'd see once you pass the gate is a big trampouline which I assume will fit more than 10 kids inside it, but sadly I forgot to take the picture knowing that I wouldn't get into it, so instead I took the direction board of the BCL which would show you the way for each game, there is Lampion Garden, Mangkok Tsunami (Tsunami Bowl), Ulat Gila (Insane Worm), Buah Terbang (Flying Fruits), Cinema 4D, Rumah Hantu (Haunted House), Bom-bom Car, Mobil Gila (Crazy Car), etc.
Bandung Carnival Land
Check the sign-board to direct you where are you going to
Oh, along that, there's also a big slider near Mobil Gila zone but I don't know what kind of game it offered since there was no one there to play.
Bandung Carnival Land

Mangkok Tsunami
My first game was playing this Mangkok Tsunami with my mother, the game was about you'd sit on a rounding look-alike boat while you'd also rotated, and it wasn't a good start after all, my mom got dizzy easily and gave up to continue the rest games, lol! But I played twice!

Round and Round, Mangkok Tsunami will make you dizzy!
Buah Terbang
Next is Buah Terbang, or if you've ever visited Dunia Fantasi, it was similar like ontang anting, like a flying swinger, this was my favourite but it didn't fly as high as ontang anting. There are two types of Buah Terbang considering the passenger age; the children and the adults, my lil bro who's still 9 yo took the children zone while I was taking the adult's one.

Buah Terbang for adult, I enjoy the swing and the breeze here!

Cinema 4D
Cinema 4D is a small movie room for you to watch an adventure movie, it's similar like a mere 3D studio but.. what makes it into 4D was because you can really feel the water being splashed on you! I'm sorry I couldn't go with the detail since it's forbidden to take a picture inside the cinema. But over all it was exciting, it's just the sound quality of the room was not good enough, I couldn't hear the voice properly, so I didn't know about the main plot of the story.
Bandung Carnival Land

Rumah Hantu (Haunted House)
Sorry for another dissapointment, but I didn't go to the Haunted House, since my mom was too tired and too scared to visit this zone and my lil bro had gone all his own leaving me alone (just fyi, I'm a coward). I was so curious yet I didn't brave enough, duh! So please forgive me for only can give you the picture of the house' facade.

Bandung Carnival Land

Bom-bom Car & Mobil Gila (Crazy Car)
My another favourite attraction zone, since I couldn't drive, lol. It's nice to play bom-bom car and to bump another car without a care. I played this with my lil bro and I thought he hated me cause I bumped him several times. However, the different between Bom-bom car and Mobil gila was the car size only, mobil gila suits every age while the smaller bom-bom car is only for children.

Mirror House
aka Rumah Kaca is a small room surrounded by mirror and glass, it was like a labyrinth where you have to find your way out, but I found mine less than 2 minutes! Yes, it was really small, so I took my time just to create some self-cam. Ah~~~

Air Bicycle
This zone is another of my favs, it's a mini tracked-bicycle, we have to keep cycling it in order for it to move, if we stop then the bicycle won't move either. Definitely another form of sport! But I definitely enjoy the sceneries from above and took some great shots here! Oh, yeah, the track was longg!!! And some times I was quiet scared how if the bicycle got off of the track and fell down.. But it didn't happen, thanks GOD!

Bandung Carnival Land

Reversed House
Another zone is the reversed house, it's not a game, but just showing you a house with every furnitures got upside down. It didn't have many things to observe but still good place to visit.

Bandung Carnival Land

Ulat Gila
Next is Ulat Gila, the last game I played as I remember. It was similar like a mini roller-coaster with medium speed and medium track length, also intended for kids, so don't expect too much for adults. Let's play this for fun, okay :)

Bandung Carnival Land

The Foodcourt
So after several hours playing, I felt so tired and hungry and decided to have some lunch at their foodcourt. BCL doesn't have so many food stalls around the zone, so people are directed to visit their foodcourt only, which I think they didn't have much varieties in menu too.

So I ended up ordering ayam penyet from Resto Maharani (though perhaps it was better to bring our own lunch box, ha!).

Bandung Carnival Land
Photo Session
After that I only spend the time by doing photo shoots, I made so many pictures there that I won't show you, lol!
Bandung Carnival Land

In the end, I was enjoying my time being in Bandung Carnival Land, perhaps it's not the best ever, just like what I've said; you can't compare it with the bigger one, but this one is enough to have a short weekend trip with your family, fun without spending money too much.
And this is the final look of my wrist band!

Hope you enjoy my post! See you and have a great day :)

My long hair
Summer Hairstyle Braided  and Bun (Long hair and Oblong Face). Hello everyone! Hope everything's good and you're enjoying what you're doing. Anyway, my mom just insisted me to change my hairstyle since she got bored the way I always do ponytail everywhere I go. She said I should try more hair styles. Well, actually I just want to cut my hair, lol, but I just don't have the guts, eh. So, okay, I was experimenting to find other hairstyle that fits me.

Yeah, I find that my face is a bit tricky and I couldn't just do any hairstyle just to satisfy my mom. I have oblong face, I don't have bangs, and since I used to experience hair loss due my hobby to dye my hair, duh, I have so many baby hair. So, one things that naturally my hair will look messy everywhere.

But well, at least I found several styles finally, please take a look and tell me what do you think.

1. Basic Braid
I start with this simple 2 braids on each side, why? When it's about summer, all I want is doing simple thing which not making me sweating a lot (it's quick yet showing how lazy I am). I just need to add cute ribbon and done!

2. Another French Braid
This one is my favorite, easy to make it, but I improved a bit just to match my so-not-sexy square forehead.

3. Braid and Bun
When braid style can't beat the heat, then make it as a bun! I just love the messy effect cause it reflects summer perfectly.

4. Braided Ponytail
I told myself that I will look so much cuter with bangs but, can't be helped, I don't have and not even interest to get some bangs, so yeah.. sorry for not looking so cute.

5. Bun and Ribbon
I just need to hold my hair and lift it, just as simple as that.

6. Braided Bun
How can I hide my forehead? So I just show it off with this braided bun hairstyle. Hope it looks good on me :)

Well, guess that's all I've got for now, then what about you? How's your hairstyle for summer ?
Thanks for coming!

Skinfood Royal Honey Mask
Hello everyone, how's your weekend? After so many busy activities during the weekdays, it's always good to save some quality time during the weekend to spoil ourselves, like using this Skinfood Royal Honey Mask, right? Relaxing mind, taking care of skin and supply more nutrition to body. Lately I really pay attention more toward my health, thanks to bf actually that he taught me how to live healthy, I don't eat snacks that much recently but lots of fruits in exchange and I'm so proud, I feel fresher everyday and ready to greet every morning. Hope that everyone is doing well too.

I guess every women love to use facial mask, knowing its benefits for our skin. I can relax while listening to music and daydreaming during facial mask which is my favorite moment, enjoy myself at my own room and no one disturbs.

So what mask do you like to use? I love to use many masks, most of them are DIY / Home remedies but lately I also get excited toward instant mask, included the one I will share to you: Royal Honey Mask from Skinfood.
Skinfood Royal Honey Mask
I bought several sachets from a local online store for around Rp. 5,000/piece (< US$ 1,00), got discount as well, love it! And definitely couldn't wait any longer to soon use it. Fyi, I've never made or use real honey as a mask, though I know it's good for skin. So I guess that was the reason why I choose this honey mask as a start for me to know how honey could improve our skin.

You can see the sachet appearance from the picture I posted. The shape is cute following the shape of a honey jar, with of course honey color. the backside is written with hangul which is I don't understand, but here I got the translation from the advertisement:

'An exfoliation mask with royal black honey and royal jelly extracts that sloughs away dead skin cells and transforms rough skin into a nice honey-glazed complexion.
Royal Black Honey is natural raw black honey from South Asian forests, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Royal Black Honey enriches with a myriad of nutrients that are amazingly good for the skin'

Sounds promising, eh?

Skinfood Royal Honey Mask

Now let's check inside, it contains sticky liquid, slight yellow color just like honey itself, it seems that it doesn't contain any granules or kind of grains, so smooth and it smells sweet, giving a relaxing scent instead a strong fragrance. For me, 1 sachet can be used for 1-2 usage.

Skinfood Royal Honey MaskTo use
1. Apply a quarter-sized amount evenly to the face and massage gently.
2. Leave on for 10 minutes until the texture turns watery.
3. Massage in gentle circular motions until clumps of cellulose granules and impurities appear.
4. Wipe off and cleans with a foaming cleanser

The surprising moment was after 10 minutes where I must then massage my face, I can feel some granules which I was sure it was for exfoliating the dead skin cells, I definitely love to do exfoliation recently cause it helps me to reduce my blackheads. That's why I love such skin care that will help me with exfoliation.

There would be time that the mask will turn out so watery it will flow down along your skin, it was so annoying (and it's better for you to not taste it), so I just laid down on the couch or on my bed, massaging while relaxing myself, just a simple advice :)

Skinfood Royal Honey Mask
It was watery enough to flow down along your skin
After I washed my face, I can feel my face skin became smoother and looked so much fresher. It also became tight I love to stare at mirror for a long time, *hyperbole, I know but it's true!

Rating :   ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ❀ / 4.5

Definitely love this mask, something you should try.
